The trial with SV Judge Dieter Traeger has been a success for Zauberberg
Andreas titled his dog Jago vom Zauberberg in Schutzhund 1 The tracking was almost flawless in speed, intensity and accuracy, first time out on the field under a judge's critical eyes scored 98 one article was indicated about 30 cm too early, and once after the corner he did very slight checking The obedience he was overly excited in the retrieve and dropped the dumbbell in the return picked it up immediately on his own, but was somewhat restless in his grips in all retrieves. Scored 91 The protection went very well with 94, little help to come out of the blind and little things here and there - nothing major
Hand delivered by Zauberberg K9 on 28-July 2011. After being groomed and all tuned up, licking everybody of the new family in the face, he decided to make himself a little comfortable for a snooze in his new home.

Eli was delivered July 28 2011 to his new home in San Diego California. We are happy to report that it was a very smooth transition into a beautiful home with loving owners. Eli acted like he has already been there for a while.

It is worth mentioning that in the United States of America no such organization exists that regulates the breed of the German Shepherd as seriously as the SV. This is why we ship the x-rays overseas. In addition, there are not but a handful of German Shepherd breeders that hold there standard here in the USA. We are pleased and grateful to the regulations of the SV. Although, hips ratings are a great indicator of breed suitability there are many great dogs that do not have such rating and should not be a disqualifier for workability. A dog without such great evaluation as this, may in fact be a better companion or working dog, however it would not be breed suitable at Zauberberg K9.
We are proud of our breeding program at Zauberberg K9 and want you to be as proud with your ZAUBERBERG dog!
I had time to stop by the Phoenix Schutzhund Club trial this weekend and I wanted to thank the Phoenix Schutzhund Club and wish all the competitors very well. I hope that the Phoenix Schutzhund Club trial results were what everyone were for what every one had trained.

NEWS FLASH The Benson PD, Arizona police K9 that was just certified and released by Zauberberg K9 Academy, had his first bust of 60 Pounds of marihuana during a traffic stop! Huge congrats! This K9 has been originally trained by Zauberberg K9 Academy 4 years ago. Now the brand new and "green" handler went through a three week Dual purpose (Patrol and Narcotic detection) trainnig course at our Academy - back on the streets- BANG, gotcha
I would like to express my congratulations to our very Tino Reinke in his performance at the Scottsdale Schutzhund Club Trial and his taking the gold for Zauberberg and its clients. The High in Trial is a difficult task, and the hard work by our our team training at both our feilds in Tuccson and in McNeal were able to do what out clients at Zauberberg expect-- reliable results! Without Tino and his additions to this team this may not have been possible so quickly for so many of our cleints.
Tino, I congratulate you and I am proud of your participation here at Zauberberg. May Scottsdale Schutzhund Club Trial results be the first of your great history here at Zauberberg!

Just thought that you would like to know that Jaeger received his herding instinct certificate today. The tester was very impressed and wants me to get him into herding once he's about a year and a half old.

For many years we have gotten great reviews from our clients. We were never one of those businesses that wanted to catalog and list them. Well one day it occured to us we probably need to let people know what is being said about us.

This clinic is the best in Cochise County in regards to quality and timely fashion of services to small animals. We are very excited about the results of our breeding program. German Shepherds as well as Rottweilers!!!!

Niel is in Scottsdale Dog Training for socialization as part of out trained puppy program. Reports today is that he took to the new environment very well.
We have decided to keep Nick and Neil, Meg and May to prepare them for the good folks looking for top notch trained puppies. Its always a tough choice to keep or sell a puppy. But the more we worked with these four dogs especially and the ranks began to thin we had to act quick or they would be sold. For those who got a N or M litter puppy it was good you didn't wait. The four will be available in the next couple months for those that truly want the puppy without the problems. Take a good look for yourself as these dogs develop. Please make a deposit if you would like to add one to your home or agency.
The recent announcement of Cleo and Kliff has been retracted. Cleo didnt take. Nothing is suspected here, its just one of those things. All deposits will be passed forward to new litters.
